Three injured and a dead in a car accident challenged by a police officer
Policeman Cornel Teodorovici, former head of Timişoara Economic Police was driving a Volkswagen Passat, when he hit a Dacia car circulating in normal parameters, on the road linking Lovrin and Sânnicolau Mare, according to the eyewitnesses.

The victims are under medical care now in two hospitals from Timişoara.
Innocent victims
Viorica Raţiu, the woman who was in the Dacia car died on the way to the hospital, and the driver, Ioan Raţiu, was transported in a critical condition to a medical center. The mother of the police officer, who was in the Volkswagen car, was hospitalized, also in a serious condition, and will stay under medical surveillance a couple of days more.
