Opposition to reject Croitoru and reaffirm its support for Johannis
0Designated premier Lucian Croitoru was rejected today by the members of the opposition parties (PSD, PNL, UDMR, PC and the minorities group), which announced their continuous support for Klaus Johannis for the function of prime minister.

At the end of the meeting, Lucian Croitoru, said he tried to convince leaders of the opposition on his nomination for the position of premier and that he would be always open for discussions with them.
He said he would use the 10 days to find the support of the government he proposes, adding he was “not a pawn, but a solution”.
The meeting has last about half an hour.
PSD president Mircea Geoana, Viorel Hrebenciuc, Dan Nica, Constantin Niţă and Ion Bazac have taken part in the meeting.
