Băsescu: Let’s have the intelligence of not going on strike. Nobody can count on a good law with the very commencement.
The Romanian president Traian Băsescu said, Thursday, he hoped the trade unions would have the intelligence of not going on general strike, as many trade unions had announced, showing that this workout would not solve anything as concerns the new pay system, established on the basis of proper principle.
The head of state said, at a public radio station that trade unions have all the right to be dissatisfied with the Executive’s measures, but that their dissatisfaction could be exposed through statements or attitudes.
I hope we have the intelligence of not going on strike, because this will not solve anything. The pay system ways established on the basis of right principles, nobody ca count on a good law with the very commencement, explained the president.
