Over 5.3 billion lei are the grants for the budget of the state social insurances, but Romania has 80 state employees per a thousand inhabitants.
Magistrates, policemen and professors can breathe easily for the moment. The Romanian state pays for their wages by the end of 2009, with an extra amount of more than EUR 41 million for staff costs.
Neither the retired, nor the unemployed have reasons to be worried about. Social insurances budget will increase by 1.26 billion euro.
On the other side, the costs for investment projects have decreased by 1.55 billion lei.
A report released yesterday reveals Romania is at the bottom of a European Union top of state’s efficiency. We have 80 clerks per 1,000 inhabitants, 14% more than Germany.
