Romanian Health Ministry’s committee coordinating AH1N1 flu virus situation on Monday decided to place all hospitals under quarantine as of Monday in order to prevent AH1N1 flu virus spreading.

The Health Ministry secretary of state Adrian Streinu-Cercel said this measure means fewer patient visits and medical staff.
Streinu-Cercel said the Romanian ministry will issue an order setting that family physicians will start vaccinating people.
Ministry of Health will start distributing antiviral medicines to the infections diseases units within county hospitals and will assign 27 million lei (EUR1=RON4.3047) to hospitals in areas hit by the new flu to buy surgical masks and disinfectants.
In the last 72 hours, Romanian health authorities have confirmed 128 new cases of infection with AH1N1 flu, bringing the total number to 555, with no fatalities, according to official statistics.
