According to Bucharest Floreasca Emergency Hospital, Dinică's condition after the surgery was "critical and requires constant intensive care to bring vital organs to normal parameters".

Dinică had been hospitalized in Floreasca hospital since October 22 and received medical care and treatment for multiple infections, which affected most vital organs.

Th actor was first diagnosed with severe lung and kidney infection, which subsequently led to respiratory problems and complications.

Gheorghe Dinică , one of Romania's most famous and highly appreciated actor, made his debut awith the movie "The Stranger" in 1963 and performed in over 60 films, among which, "The Afternoon of a Torturer," "Filantropica," TV serial "Regina" and "Gypsy Heart". He performed on most famous Romanian theater stages in "Tache, Ianke and Cadar," "The Name of the Rose," "Waiting for Godot", and many others.

In 1957, he entered The National Institute of Theatre and Cinematography Art in Bucharest. He graduated in 1961, already drawing public attention with the role of Inspector Goole in the graduation play An Inspector Calls. Since then, Gheorghe Dinică performed for some of the most important Romanian theatres: 1961-1967 Comedy Theatre, Bucharest  1968-1969 Bulandra Theatre, Bucharest   Since 1972 I.L.Caragiale National Theatre, Bucharest He was also a Romanian director and popular film actor, thus acting in most Romanian films. Like the French actor Alain Delon, Dinică refused to act in movies produced in the United States. Since 2002, he was an honorary member of the society of I.L.Caragiale National Theatre. He is also an honorary citizen of the city of Bucharest. He was awarded the "Faithful Service" Order in the Grand Officer class.
