Madonna arrived today in Romania for the performance she is about to have, tonight, in Izvor Park, city of Bucharest. The pop music diva included the Romanian capital on the list of the countries selected for her current “Sticky and Sweet" tour. This is her first time in Romania.
Two stages, extravagant outfits, 3,500 dressing elements and jewelry of over a million and a half are needed for the Madonna show tonight.
The diva arrived last night at the local hour 7.25 p.m. on Băneasa Airport by a private plane. The “queen of pop” will go on the stage around 10.00 p.m. The access to the concert space will be open between 5.30-8.30 p.m.

Chris Lamb, head of production for Madonna’s tour, offered some information about the tonight show, in a press conference held Tuesday.
Madonna and Chris Lamb have been working together for 23 years, ever since the beginning of her carrier. “I was always beside her, every time she had a live performance” said Lamb. “I was there every time she reinvented herself.”
“This time we’ll have hydraulic effects, background changes, 15 dancers, 5 instrumental performers and 2 people for backing vocals” added Lamb.
He said the artist was very pleased to be singing for the first time in Romania and she wanted a perfect show, and she also made a joke about the Casa Poporului, saying she was afraid it’ll run out of electricity.
