The Romanian football team Dinamo qualified in the groups of Europe League, after penalty shootout in the second-leg tie with the Czech Slovan Liberec, when it imposed itself in front of the Czech with 9-8 shoots.
Dinamo joined the history of the European League last night. The team succeeded the accomplishment of changing the score, handed the default defeat following crowd trouble in the home match on August 20.
They fought back and won with 3-0 score in Liberec. What is interesting is the fact that if the supporters of the team wouldn't have entered on the field in the game played in Stefan cel Mare stadium, the Romanian team would have been qualified.
The Romanian teams FC Timisoara, CFR Cluj, Dinamo Bucharest and Steaua Bucharest managed to qualify to the next stage in UEFA’s Europe League.
FC Timisoara qualified strait in the groups of the Europe League afterwinning the match competition against German VfB Stuttgart Wednesday in the Champion League play-offs.
CFR Cluj finished the second-leg tie against Bosnian team FK Sarajevo with 2-1 score. .
Steaua qualified in the European League groups after a 2-1 victory Thursday over Irish Saint-Patrick’s Athletics.
The group stage draw for this year's edition of UEFA Europe League will take place on Friday, August 28.
