Prosecutors say Ionel Dumitru, aged 41, and Constantin Scintei, aged 42, the owners of Valcris Trans Co. will be put to trial.

The owners of the "death bus" were illegally developing passenger transport routes under the eyes of the traffic agents and inspectors of the Romanian Road Authority (AAR).
Petrisor Apostu, aged 26, the drivers of the bus involved in the tragedy from Halta Scanteia, died yesterday.
His bosses took advantage of the circumstances and said they had rented the car to him without even knowing he used to carry passengers from Iasi to Scanteia. This way, they hope they can get away unpunished for the fact they don’t have authorization for the respective rout. They have to explain prosecutors why the drivers didn’t have an individual employment agreement with the company and if they forced him to drive 18-20 hours daily, as the wife says.
Guilty for the incident are also the police agents who fined the driver seven times in a row for the past year without even notice he was doing piracy. Neither the Road Authority had any idea about the illegal passenger transport from Iasi to Scanteia.
