Saulea pretended bribery from Ion Preoteasa, a former priest excluded from the Romanian Orthodox Church, at present sympathizer of the Russian Church from Catacombe. When talking about money, Saulea used to use the word “books”.
For the bribery received, Saulea promised he would intervene so that Ion Tache, the mayor of parish Adunatii Copaceni (Giurgiu district) would give Preoteasa some slots of land.
Intercepted by the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) during a meeting with priest Ion Preoteasa, Saulea promises to solve the case. But, not without a condition: “I'll listen to you when I see the EUR 50,000!”.
