Romanian health care ministry preparing another series of dismissals

New checking is foreseen in the case of Romanian medical institutions that exceeded their cost budgets. 47 hospitals are on the black list of the Health Ministry with debts. Some managers say hospitals already work on casualties.

The Romanian Ministry of Health is preparing a new series of dismissals within the Romanian hospitals. The action come after what minister Bazac dismissed 73 hospital managers for not fulfilling the performance criteria.

Bazac said clinical hospital managers must be university teachers specialized in sanitary management or doctors. He also promoted an emergency decree holding the dismissal of hospital managers that have debts for more than two year.
