The Romanian agency for integrity ANI announced the mayor of Constanţa, Radu Mazăre, has been in a state of incompatibility between April 23, 2003 and November 6, 2003, for he was mayor and, in the same time, administrator of a company, which caused the risk of losing his current position.
The National Agency of Integrity took notice of the possible breaking of the incompatibility regime. Mazăre was notified about the checking he was submitted to.
According to art. 87 alin. 1 lit. d of the Law no. 161/2003 regarding measures for transparency in the prosecution of the public positions and in the business environment, preventing and sanctioning corruption, the mayor position is incompatible with the function of administrator at commercial societies, it is shown in ANI release.
