The Romanian deputies voted, with 198 favorable votes, five against and seven abstentions the law of nutritional product trading, which readjusts the relations between manufacturers and traders in order to prevent against competition practices of the supermarkets.
According to the law of nutritive product trade, traders are not allowed to impose manufacturers the payment of certain services that are not in direct connection to the operation of selling and are not included in the acquisition price.
Also, retailers don’t have the right to impose to the manufacturers to sell their products at the same price or a higher price than other traders.
The product can only be taken out of a list with a previous two-month notification of the manufacturer.
