”Adevarul” presents and explains the law of state employees’ unique pay, as it was sent form the Parliament.
The unique pay law sent yesterday by the Romania Parliament weakens the hierarchy of the wages within the budgetary system. The highest wage will be the Romanian president’s salary, 7,200 lei.
On the lowest side of the hierarchy is the deb referent position with 720 lei. If the normative act is approved by the Parliament, the Government will assume responsibility for it by September 15, and the law will come into effect by January 1st 2010.
The new salary grill has shrunken wages in the case of teachers and doctors, which are placed now on the below side of the pyramid. On the other hand, the parliamentarians’ wages are bigger now.
