Reference exchange rate settled by the central lender BNR went 0.02 % down to 4.2952 lei / euro, following leu currency's slight increase in the first part of the session, in line with the emergent currencies in the region.
BNR posted yesterday an exchange rate equal to 4.2961 lei /euro.
Romanian national currency gained ground from 4.2980 to 4.2945 versus the euro and then fell to 4.2965, while the Polish zloty climbed from 4.1750 to 4.1284 per euro and the Hungarian forint soared from 271.60 to 269.20 versus the single European currency.
