CFR employees to go on spontaneous strike in Braşov and Sibiu
CFR Infrastructure Braşov went on spontaneous strike. They are afraid they will be send in technical unemployment and are dissatisfied with the decision of the minister of Transports of dismissing 40 % of the entire staff.
In Sibiu, the four trains that should have left for Craiova, Mediaş, Făgăraş and Mureş around local time 3 p.m., had been blocked by CFR employees.
All trains from Braşov Railway Station had been blocked by the dissatisfied employees that haven’t cashed their pay for July by the deadline established in their employment agreement.
They are afraid of running out of money, considering CFR Marfa employees faced months of wage delays.
