New Dacia Sandero Stepway to reach Romania within two weeks

The Romanian car producer Automobile Dacia, the local division of the French company Renault, launches the first crossover Sandero Stepway, on Wednesday, June 17, the company announced.

Dacia officials denied giving any information regarding when it would be up for sale in Romania or details about the new car’s price.

Sandero Stepway was first presented on May 7, at Barcelona auto fair. The car will be available on most of the European countries starting September 2009, in some countries even with the end of June.

In 2008, Dacia produced 242,415 units, 8.8% more than a year before.

Renault Sandero Stepway is already up for sale in Brazil and Argentina, where 3,000 units have already been sold.
