Băsescu: "I reject any variant of a government of technocrats"

Romanian president Traian Băsescu has drawn the attention today on the variant of a technocratic government. He asked the political parties to stop reflecting on this topic and assume its governing. According to the head of state, to reestablish world’s trust in Romania is only possible through political parties’ assumption.

I don’t support the variant of having an independent prime-minister said the head of state. Băsescu also admitted he could accept a discussion on this topic, with the condition that the rest of the government to be politicians.
