40 % cheaper house apartments

The prices of Romanian house apartments, evaluated in leu currency, decreased by 10-40 % in the first semester, in comparison with last year’s end, according to a new study made by the evaluation company Darian Rom-Suisse.

Old apartment houses prices were the ones to be reduced the most, since the beginning of the year. In the first sic months, there was a medium shrink of the prices, in lei currency, comparative to the end of 2008, according to a release by Darian Rom-Suisse.

Construction costs’ cut and the cut of labor force allowed developers to try to adapt the offer to the majority of the buyers on the market.

The decrease of the residential properties prices in real terms was between 10-40 %, depending on the location, finishes, etc.

Thus, at the level of the most important cities of the country, the prices of old apartments decreased by 23 %, and 17 % in the case of new apartments.
