Sick people suffer from starvation in hospitals

Low budgets and high debts determine the Romanian hospitals to apply costs cuts by giving less food to the people under medial care.

The portions of food from the sanitary unities have become inconsistent and insufficient. Managers put the blame on the lack of funds.

Very many sick people hospitalized at the Emergency Hospital from Petroşani complain they are starving. Their plates are very small and the food with no consistence.

“I asked my relatives and the people I know to bring me food because the food I receive in the hospital is very little and doesn’t suffice.”
