The government claims eRomania project will save the citizens’ time and decrease red tape procedures. But, this happens only in theory, because in reality the tax payers’ money are being spent uselessly.
The ministry of Communications says eRomania project is an important way to implement a governing strategy. More precisely, it is a coherent and friendly interface between the public administration and the citizen.
Nevertheless, at this moment in time, the portal, which can be accessed at the following URL: www.romania.gov.ro, doesn’t offer any online service and doesn’t have a version in one of the international-circulation languages.
