BRD offered, today, the first loan of the program “The First Home”. According to the minister of Finances, Gheorghe Pogea, 25 % of the requests for these loans will be for a news house. He is hoping to restart crediting and construction activity through this measure.

“The program will satisfy the social component and thaw construction sector” said Gheorghe Pogea. He participated in the event of signing the first loan given through the governmental program “The First Home”.
“BRD is the only bank signing the agreement with FNGCIMM so far, Alpha Bank is about to sign it on Wednesday. Discussions have been held with Leumi Bank, Banca Românească, Bancpost and BCR, but it’s up to them when they send the documents” added Aurel Şaramet, president of the National Fund of Loan Guarantee.
