Poor people end up rich

Many of the farmers from Remetea Mare village have succeeded to raise small fortunes after they sold their slots of land inherited from their grandparents to give place to West Highway.

Lia Moraru (aged 47) and his brothers received over EUR 260,000 for three ha of land. They want to build a house for their daughter and buy a new agrimotor.

The two farmers Lia Moraru and her husband, Ionel (aged 50), had been lucky to receive over EUR 85,000 in their account, money representing the value of the expropriated field, ahere it will be built the highway linking Nădlac-Arad-Timişoara-Deva cities.

The woman had inherited from her mother several slots of infield measuring at least 12 ha.
