Law proposals regarding the educational reform pretend a professor can have at most two rector or dean mandates and the legal age of retirement would be 65.

All students of the institutions accredited will be introduced into a national database for the prevention of the diplomas’ falsification.
For these proposals, the Executive will assume the responsibility. Prime-minister Emil Boc said, in the end of the Executive meeting where the project was discussed, that this had its starting point in the national pact for education and strategy elaborated by the presidential commission ruled by Mircea Miclea.
According to the new law draft, a teacher can have only two school management mandates, while the retirement age will reach 65, professors and doctorate coordinators can continue their activity, with the annual approval of the university’s senate, according to his/her performances and financial resources of the institution.
