According to the National Agency for Employment in Romanian there are now 9,321 vacant jobs, available for the week btw. August 13-20, 2009, half of the figure in comparison with last year’s similar period.
The areas with the most vacant positions are Bucharest (978 jobs), Dolj (464 jobs), Arad (383 jobs) and Satu Mare (358 jobs).
At the opposite pole are the following districts: Alba (27 openings),Ialomiţa (31 openings), Dâmboviţa (54 openings), Vrancea (62 openings), Botoşani (68 openings), Brăila (63 openings), Giurgiu (61 openings), Sălaj (76 openings).
University graduates can apply for 336 jobs at national level. Among these count: 107 engineers and sub engineers.
