Romanian bank assets to decrease in the 2nd quarter
The value of the assets of the Romanian banking system, including those of the forein banks’ headquarters in Romania, have dropped, by 1,04 % in the second quarter of the year, reaching EUR 78.3 billion (RON 328,89 billion), comparing with EUR 79,12 billion (RON 332,34 billion).

This is the first drop registered by the total of assets after several years of continuously increasing.
By the end of June, there was a 4,6 % increase, to the last year;s same period, when the total value of the banking assets was EUR 74,86 billion (RON 314,55 billion).
