Excepting the bodyguard businesses, by means of which he has control over the city of Caracal (Olt), Remus Radoi, aged 33 years old, wants to have even more influence on the area, by founding a local TV station, RED TV.
In order to impress the National Audiovisual Council of Romania (CNA), Codita needed someone that was more influential than he. In 2008 he hired Andrei Paunescu, the son of Adrian Paunescu, then PSD senator, as the general director of the local TV station.
The monthly wage negotiated with him was about EUR 1,200. But, a month ago, Paunescu Jr. lost his job. His former owner says Andrei had old-fashioned views, unlike him, who was a “modernist”.
