"The King's Speech" a primit cele mai multe nominalizări la Oscar. Vezi lista completă

S-a dat startul ediţiei cu numărul 83 a Premiilor Oscar, nominalizările fiind anunţate marţi, într-o conferinţă de presă, la Los Angeles. Ceremonia de decernarea a premiilor va avea loc pe 27 februarie 2011, la Kodak Theatre din Los Angeles. 

Filmele celor 24 de categorii au fost anunţate de actriţa Mo'nique, cea care a câştigat anul trecut un Oscar pentru Cea Mai Bună Actriţă în Rol Secundar  şi  preşedintele Academiei Americane de Film, Tom Sherak. Pentru cel mai important trofeu al celui mai bun film vor fi nominalizate 10 pelicule, în loc de cinci, aşa cum am fost obişnuiţi.

Cele mai multe nominalizări le-a primit filmul "The King's Speech",  fiind nominalizat la 12 categorii.

Pe locul doi în topul celor mai multe nominalizări se află filmul "True Grit" (la 9 categorii).

"Inception" şi "The Social Network" sunt nominalizate la câte 8 categorii.
