Nominalizări BAFTA 2018: „God's Own Country“, cu actorul român Alec Secăreanu în rol principal, concurează pentru titlul de Cel mai bun film britanic
0Filmul „The Shape of Water“, regizat de Guillermo del Toro, a primit cele mai multe nominalizări la premiile BAFTA 2018, în timp ce „God’s Own Country“, în care unul dintre rolurile principale este interpretat de actorul român Alec Secăreanu, concurează la categoria Cel mai bun film britanic.
Filmul „Shape of Water“, pentru care regizorul mexican Guillermo del Toro a fost premiat cu Leul de Aur la Festivalul de la Veneţia, dar şi cu un Glob de Aur, a primit 12 nominalizări la premiile BAFTA 2018, gală ce va avea loc pe 18 februarie, scrie News.ro.
Lungmetrajul, despre un experiment secret din America anilor '60, este nominalizat inclusiv la cele mai importante categorii – Cel mai bun film, Cel mai bun regizor, Cel mai bun scenariu original, Cea mai bună actriţă în rol principal (Sally Hawkins) şi Cea mai bună actriţă în rol secundar (Octavia Spencer).
În topul nominalizărilor urmează producţiile „Darkest Hour“ şi „Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri“, câte nouă nominalizări, „Blade Runner 2049“ şi „Dunkirk“, câte opt.
„God’s Own Country“, cu actorul român Alec Secăreanu în rol principal, va concura la categoria Cel mai bun film britanic. Producţia, regizată de Francis Lee, prezintă povestea de dragoste dintre tânărul fermier Johnny (Josh O'Connor) şi muncitorul român Gheorghe (Alex Secăreanu) şi a fost elogiat în presa internaţională, fiind chiar comparat cu „Brokeback Mountain“ (2005), câştigătorul a trei premii Oscar.
Lansat şi premiat la Sundance Film Festival, „Tărâmul binecuvântat/ God's Own Country“ a devenit unul dintre cele mai discutate filme în presa internaţională anul trecut, lucru datorat atât tematicii LGBT, cât şi numărului impresionant de festivaluri unde a fost selectat şi premiat: Directing Award la Sundance Film Festival, Männer Jury Award la Berlinale, Best British Feature Film la Edinburgh International Film Festival, Special Jury Award la TIFF Cluj, Audience Award la Frameline San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival, arată cinemagia.ro.
