MTV Movie Awards 2016: Lista câştigătorilor - care a fost cel mai bun sărut de pe marile ecrane

„Star Wars: Trezirea Forţei/ Star Wars: The Force Awakens“ a fost marele câştigător al galei MTV Movie Awards, după ce a fost recompensat cu trei trofee, inclusiv pentru Cel mai bun film al anului.

Cel de-al şaptelea capitol al francizei „Star Wars“ a fost desemnat cel mai bun film al anului, la cea de-a 25-a ediţie a MTV Movie Awards. Lungmetrajul a condus şi în topul nominalizărilor (11), reuşind să traducă în victorii trei dintre ele, incluzându-le pe cele pentru actorii Daisy Ridley şi Adam Driver. 

Trofeele pentru interpretări au revenit actorilor Charlize Theron, pentru rolul solicitant din „Mad Max: Drumul Furiei/ Mad Max: Fury Road“, şi Leonardo DiCaprio, pentru „The Revenant“, rol ce i-a adus şi primul Oscar din carieră. 

Actorul şi cântăreţul american Will Smith a primit distincţia MTV Generation, pentru întreaga carieră cinematografică, iar Halle Berry, cea care i-a înmânat premiul, l-a numit pe acesta „un campion al diversităţii la Hollywood“, potrivit News.ro. „A deschis un drum pentru actori, arătându-le că oricine, de orice culoare, poate juca orice rol şi poate deschide orice film şi câştiga orice premiu“, a spus actriţa, citată de BBC.
